About the Founder
Founded by Toby Richards, TR Consultants (UK) Ltd draws on extensive experience across private security, operational oversight and risk-focused environments. Toby has worked within high-volume hospitality, major events and asset-sensitive sectors, providing insight into operational weaknesses that directly impact profitability.
His background includes surveillance, investigations, information gathering and behavioural pattern analysis, supported by strong communication and conflict-resolution skills — enabling him to identify vulnerabilities long before they become financial losses.
TR Consultants was established in 1997 and incorporated as a limited company in 2002. The team has since grown organically, bringing together specialists from ex-forces, close protection, finance, analytics and operational management.
